Hey there, I’m really confused. I’ve put a lot of time and work into two of my group games. I haven’t done much work to them over the past few months, but trying to open them now, all that appears is the void. I’ve tried restarting my pc but whenever I open them, just void. I’ve even tried reverting to older saves, and still just void. It is only happening to these two games, so it isn’t like my Roblox Studio is corrupted. Any ideas of what could be happening?

I dont think restartng your pc would do anything to fix it if its an published game. One of your devs probably deleted everything and published a bunch of times to flood the saves. If this is not the case it is probably an roblox bug or something

I’ve looked through Audit Logs and even the dates of the previous versions make me think it couldn’t have been my other devs. I trust my devs, and the only two people that have access to game editing both say they didn’t do it so idk

Either it’s a:
- Virus (if you used fishy plugins or fishy models)
- Roblox bug

(if you’re working as a team, which I guess you are since it’s a group game) Developer deleting everythingdeconfirmed I guess? But I’d still check honestly - (maybe?) corrupted saves

group audit logs dont show if an dev deleted everything in your game.

This has happened to me before. Although I got my game back. I really want to know how it has happened to me. I didn’t use free models. Your file has probably been corrupted and the data has been lost.

I think I’ve confirmed it is not one of my devs, because I just opened up a save from 8 months ago, when I was actively working on the game, and it is also just void

Yes, the game is completely empty, nothing in StarterGui, Workspace, Lighting, etc… I’ve let it load for around 15 minutes because I thought similar, but still nothing. I have a good pc so I don’t think that it isn’t loaded

Did you check for viruses?
What are your and your developers’ plugins and by who are they made?
Have you or your developers used free models before?
PS: It’s very weird that even a save from 8 months doesn’t work. It seems highly like a bug or your files could be corrupted, maybe you shut down your PC while the files were saving and thus they corrupted. I don’t know.

My devs are experienced and I believe all of their plugins are clean, we also pride ourselves on not using free models. Back when I was working on the games, I would run virus scans regularly so I don’t think it could be any of those

Try to revert the game to an older version.

Well… if you’re so sure… the only other thing I can think of right now it’s that either Roblox is doing something faulty (probably unlikely) or the files are actually corrupted.

At this point, we’re just trying different stuff, can’t confirm this will actually do anything.
Try reinstalling Roblox Studio. Maybe Roblox Studio is doing something very faulty and maybe that’ll fix it. Though I’m almost certain it’s probably some sort of corruption.

Would it be an issue for you if you upload any save here? Doesn’t matter how old, it can be as old as you want, since you say all of them don’t work. Then I could maybe check if it’s the same for me.
