My first build, please give feedback!

Hello! I am very new to Roblox Studio and I want to build and this is my first time really trying it!
I would like feedback from people who are not as new as me. Thank you! (I know its a little to big I will fix it when I have the chance.)! also I added black parts because I was too lazy to do the interior of the house. link to the game: baby's first build - Roblox

This is a great first build! Depending on the style that you’re going for, I think that you could consider adding more details in certain parts like the door or adding window frames. I think that the foundation of the building could also be changed to another material like concrete and maybe the stones at the front could be changed to slate or cobblestone. But that all depends on the style. Again, great job.

Considering that this is your first build, this looks fantastic. I have a few suggestions though:

  1. The windows look pretty bland. Try to make the colors vibrate a bit more or you could just add a bit of transparency to them.
  2. The trees are too close to the house. Put them in areas where they’re not really close to something.
  3. The spawn part definitely shouldn’t be on piled-up plates.

Great job! I really think you did great for a first build. However, it feels a little blocky. You can try to get rid of it by adding more detail or something to make it not feel as blocky. However, you just need to keep building, getting feedback, and continuing to improve! Overall, great job and I hope you continue to improve yourself in the future! :smiley:

There are windows the black parts I put so you cant see the build was empty also because I was lazy.

I agree it does feel blocky I will work on it next time!

1 of the reasons that I did not add an interior is because I did not know how to use the lighting.

This is a lot better than many first builds. I’d recommend adding more detail though and using Surfacelights + Future Lighting Technology.
