First thing I notice is that the textures load slowly. Might just be my own system but it make me confused at first. Another thing is that the player interacts with objects by just being near them. You should add a UI to tell the player what action they can do.

Another thing I notice is that the sprint does not last very long. Might just be my own lag but it seems to last no longer than 1 second. Try to extend it so players can get to places a bit quicker. Otherwise I like the idea of being slow without sprinting.

In a room, there are some wooden crates that clip the wall. It’s very minor but for detail purposes it should probably at most collide with the wall.

In that same room, there is a closet with a note saying “Sometimes book where people store their info”. I think the grammar is a bit off, the note should probably say “People sometimes store their info in books”.

The horror is actually pretty decent, I got a bit shaken when I opened the door that requires Key2. The jump scare in that room when you grab Key1 (or just “Key”) is a bit non-impressive, adding more animation and loud noises would scare someone more. I also think Key2 should switch names with Key1, their names confused me because I had thought I missed a step.

As seen from the following images, I had missed a key part from simply stepping a stud too far from where I would drop, and I ended up going through the boundaries.

Because it is late in my time right now (12:30 AM in the middle of night) I did not test any further. But, I can say that the game is pretty decent.

What I’ll say to change is simple:

-Sprint stamina
-Map design
-Falling through the map (basically covering up that hole I fell through, or adding invisible walls to avoid players going to the area I was at)
-Improving jump scare “scare level”.
-Redesigning the lobby

These 5 things would help make the game seem a lot better. A few other recommendations is to make the character’s speech (when the protagonist talks in-game for events) text a lot bigger. It can be unnoticeable, so scale that up. Adding voice lines can also help the player focus on the game while listening to what the protagonist is saying, as well as make this game one of few that have actual character voices on Roblox.

Other than that the game is pretty good. For your sponsoring problem, I think you should just advertise for free on social media and the developer forum, as you don’t have that much Robux for sponsors and advertisements.

Hi! Me too my sometimes the texture is sometimes slow. About the sprint i am not really sure about it so i publish it like that.

About the grammar, English is not my main lang. so yea sorry about that. Also the key names i cannot really think key names so i left like that.

Gonna change those! Very thank you for this!

I would love to test your game and give feedback, but I was 10 seconds in before I left because I was scared. Horror games and I don’t go well together lol.

Haha! That’s okay… :grinning:

The description is screaming at me and I feel a bit uncomfy.

A: The game isn’t of quality to warrant a sponsor, however as a first step in the journey towards being a better developer journey it’s a good start.
B: The short looping music is somewhat irritating.

The walking is painfully slow. Slower then a human walks naturally. There isn’t even view bobbing to make more dynamic.

From a building standpoint:
It is clear this is the same tree copy pasted multiple times. To avoid players noticing I always use 1-3 tree models and rotate them randomly to avoid players noticing this.

I always like to add a difference in texture between walked ground and unwalked ground. Adds in more detail and depth.

Example of texture change.

Zclipping annoying no advice just fix this.

This grass is overly bright and also over saturated, to get the mood just right I reccomend using colour correction fx/ changing it in terrain.

seriously turn the brightness down

Could be intentional but what on earth is this doing here? There seams too be no way to access it.

There are better ways to integrate this into the environment, such as an elevator or a whole in the wall.

Obvious light leak, the solution to this is harder to explain.

The outside looks nice.

The wood grain should go parallel to the direction of the plank.
image

Stairs aren’t ment to be built like this.
image

If you’re using regular inbuilt fire instead of particle emitters, don’t do that.

Consider adding skirting along all the walls.

An execution chair is straight up not safe for roblox

Style does not fit in at all.

This is clearly a decal, consider creating a mesh to use in place of it if you want the round shape or use parts if your unwilling to learn how to use blender…

I’ve seen this a billion times before. Come up with something new.

Cons:
The building style SUCKS big time. I recommend watching https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5MxEGe5kxFUzS-0dtXTKuQ to learn new tricks and tricks.
I recommend spending some time working on new builds to learn these tips and tricks.
The lighting is not particularly good.
The walk speed is painfully slow for no reason, slower then any real person would move
I couldn’t find the key >:C /s

Pros: The windows to the outside at the start, slowing this place is larger and has an outside is pretty good for a game design point of view. Everything there was clear in what it was.

Sorry my bad.

(characters limit)

Thank you so much for this! Gonna apply this to my future projects.

About the building, I’m not really a builder I am a scripter so yeah my bad.

Try using old roblox’s style, sweet, simple, liked by most and easy for most people to make. Gotta get far more creative when it comes to getting scares however.
