I never learned how to work with music/musical instruments, but I’ve been trying out FL Studio as a hobby for a while and I decided to make a track, which could be useful for my future Roblox projects. Any thoughts guys?

I don’t know much about the lo-fi music genre, but this sounds awesome and I would easily mistake it for a professional track if it came on!

Sounds good! It’s a bit repetitive in parts but otherwise it’s good.
I like the rain background sound, it adds a nice touch.

Reminds me of one of my favorite instrumental projects of all time, Port Blue:
I like it. If I were to criticize it, it would mainly be that the mix isn’t really “full”, it sounds almost plastic. I fall into that trap a lot, and there’s many ways to fix it. In this case, I think adding more instruments (Just pads or something) in the “middle” frequencies would really make it pop. I didn’t think it was that repetitive, in fact, some tracks are better when they’re repetitive.

Thanks for the feedback! I’ll see what I can do with making the drums sound more natural.
Adding slight distortion helps some. Also since you’re using FL Studio (that’s my DAW too btw) pulling the Swing knob in the top right of the drum sequencer up a bit works. Unless you’re sequencing them some other way.
But I thought the drums sounded fine. In fact they were one of my favorite parts!

I love this sound so much! I can see what games it might fit into. A nice, grungy rainy area. If I made that I would definitely pay to license this song in a way. Great work.
