>> A Problem

I’m not really happy on how it came out tho, It doesn’t look cool and it doesn’t look high quality and looks like its worth putting into my game. How can I improve on this? are their tutorials that can help you make a sword on blender that is high quality? I really want to Improve on my weapons because I’m not to happy with how it came out, It makes me lose motivation.

I have to be honest here, 3/10. Needs many improvements, did you use a reference? The actual blade of a katana is much thinner. Actually, the whole weapon itself should be thinner. Katanas are not as big or heavy as typical medieval swords. I also recommend you smooth out the tip to make it curvier rather than sharper.
I would use this as a reference to make these improvements:

I hope this post helps!

Finishing touches

Question: Should I scale the bottom part/Handle down or make it kinda smaller?

The blades bent in a weird way

should I turn it a little bit more?

Actually I need at least 2 people to tell me that so then I will change it

If you want you could, just try to make it look like the image

Good to hear that our suggestions are helping out! Assuming that you’ll implement this in your game as a weapon for a Roblox character, you should scale it down so that it will fit in the player’s hand if you haven’t already tested it out.

My advice is don’t try to include details for the sake of the aesthetic. If anything go smaller with less detail then as large as a character with lots or some detail. You really just need to practice. You can’t just watch blender tutorials on YouTube and expect to be good, you need to practice. If you practice and devote some time to it you will see vast improvement. Remember even if you don’t like it other people might, your brain makes you think it looks bad. It looks great and I have seen the improvement of yours just in this thread. Keep it up and good job!

You’re reaching that stage in learning where things start to get hard and you start losing motivation. Most people who learn new things, whether it be playing an instrument, learning a new language, or even modeling quit when they reach this point. My best advice to you is don’t give up because when it comes to Blender it only takes a couple weeks to overcome that point, and if you don’t believe me just look at this Katana I made 3 weeks into learning Blender:

My advice to you is find a mentor, someone helping you and answering your questions realtime makes a world of difference.
