My game requires some players to be playable, but no one joins because zero active users in game

Hello Developers!
My development group just released one of our new game, which is very similar to the popular donation game, PLS DONATE. We advertised it at the weekends, and some of our ads received some clicks, yet nobody plays with our game because it requires at least 10 players to be playable. I also made announcements about it on gamejolt.com and on reddit.com, but these barely helped.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Thank you in advance for your replies.

Ok so I just checked out your game. I don’t normally play donation games but this is kinda cool. I like the idea of adding your own personal game passes and advertising groups and other things instead of purely just donating. But the whole “cover” of the game screams just another donation game, and you know how the internet judges books by their cover… Maybe instead of advertising it as a donation game, you should advertise it as an advertising game. Where small devs can get into a server of people to show off their stuff! You should also have stuff for people to do while waiting around. Who wants to sit in a server all day waiting for someone to donate. You could do an obby or get really creative and add something entirely new! I also feel that if you donate you should be able to choose what to add to your stand, like a shop for donation points or something. My final suggestion is that maybe you could allow players to advertise games as well. Like have a button link to a specific Roblox.com link but it’d have to be approved first or something. The game looks good but it’s just a bit bland and soulless. These are my suggestions. Hope your game turns out well!

P.S. Maybe label some of the creation buttons. It’s a little confusing to edit the shop. Also the arrow gamepass doesn’t seem like it would work very well for a gamepass. Maybe instead of having the arrow for a gamepass have it in like a shop like I said earlier where you could buy it just so it doesn’t feel like your buying a gamepass for nothing. When you buy a gamepass you want it to work. But when it’s an in-game shop it feels less like a big purchase. Also you could have gamepasses donating to yourself (Mimas18Hun) which could give the player like 10% more donation points but not too much because it would take away the need to donate to others.

The reason is because there are quite literally thousands of these types of games. Also no-one is going to spend time in a game that has no players compared to a similar and more popular game which has players.

Well the issue is there is no incentive for people to play your game specifically over other already popular games that cover something very close to this.

Even if it requires 10 players, if there are 0 people playing, what is the incentive for one person to join your game to begin with when there is nobody else playing? To reach a total of 10 active players, or to make a game active at all for that matter, you need some way of retaining the first people that join.
