when you say ā€œmaking the biggerā€ you mean with making the images bigger? if yes then im working on it, the problem is that if i make it bigger, will be hard to see the screen to play, since i will add other buttons later, but i will try to do what you want. :+1:

Okay, I think you have used Free Png’s from the Internet for your UI’s… UI’s look pretty simple. And you need to put detail into making better UI’s as the Simple Classic Box UI looks very dull and ugly. Try use Vectors with rounded edges. And try designing your own Icons.

Good luck in your Project! Spo_oky

I’m adding a rounded button detail into all the buttons, and the free pngs i just got them from toolbox, but i will change them, also one of my favorite games is using free assets from internet and the game is very famous so i dont think thats a very big problem. But in a future i will change the images to one that i will create

There is no problem in using Free png’s…Its recommended that you make your own so it looks better and Unique.

I find that making things smaller adds sophistication. Although I am not well versed in design, there are a couple things that stand out.

First of all, there is no inherent design here, it is just a few buttons put to the side. I don’t know how you’ve handled scaling, but if it isn’t done properly then the images will become warped. The coin symbol is out of place, and the XP bar is way too big for what it needs to be. I wouldn’t want so much stuff cluttering my screen, so maybe add a tab that can show these things to people, and an option to hide them.

To summarise -

Have everything follow a set formula, so every menu is in a place that is logical. The XP bar should be smaller so that it seems more sleek and less obtusive.

The admin tab, although not really required as its for admins, can be made smaller also.

One thing I can say is that rounded corners are your friend in UI to make things look nice macos for example, not windows.

For what I working on (although it is a different game), I found that I like this way quite a bit. But it probably isn’t relevant to your game’s genre.

Thanks for your suggestion, very appreciated!!!

I got free time and created like rounded buttons at the images:

IN THE MIDDLE YOU CAN SEE TEXTS, THOSE CAN BE REPLACED WITH "NEW!"
Limited text: That means the shop have a new limited time item
New Season: The new season gives unique items for a limited time
Free item: for special events.

Those texts are placed in that position to showcase it. Not the real position!

EDIT: The Admin Tab button was not edited at the time i published this, now i did, imagine that the button have a rounded image and it’s colors are like this: 166, 165, 120

Feedback

I think this is pretty good but there could be some improvements on the aesthetics, for example the shop text looks kind of plain and slightly off, it doesn’t really look like the text on the shop UI is in the centre.
On the spectate UI I would say that maybe you could change the colour a bit because it doesn’t really match with the sky.
On the playing UI I would say the same thing as I sad for the shop UI, the text could be moved slightly to the left and the character UI could be a bit more clear since you can barely even see the face of it, or maybe you could make it in a different angle.
On the money UI everything looks perfect except from the fact that you could make is slightly bigger.

Text

As I mentioned above in Feedback the text on the Playing and Shop UI could be moved slightly to the left so that it looks more as if it is in the centre, and also I would like to mention that the text look a bit plan, so I would advise you to try out different fonts and colours until you find some that match the setting more.

I will try to explain it a bit more in detail in the sections below.

On this UI, as I mentioned in Feedback, you could try to make the image more clear or try to make the character face a different angle, because you can barely see the face and it looks a bit blurry.

On this UI, you could change the color of it because black doesn’t really go with the sky blue background, I can recommend something like dark gray because I personally think that it would go a bit better with the background.

Updated image!

I already explained before I said that, two UI’s meaning the one’s I stated in the post: Admin tab, and shop.

Oh ok, admin tab looks a bit out of place but i just created a rounded button for it and the shop button

The shop frame is not completed still, but im working on it

Why is admin tab there?

A panel which i can use to ban people, enable 3rd person camera, give points to someone, etc. :+1:

Why is it shown to all the players!

I enabled it to showcase the button, i added a script which identify if the player’s name is ā€œConejin_Altā€ or another else.

This game UI of yours, is amazing. But my only thing is with the ā€˜Playing’ icon, the noob running should be a running UI, or something else. The play button should be a simple play button. Overall, continue the amazing work!

Wow, i never thought someone would reactive this thread, thanks!

What kind of image i should replace with the running noob?

I’m not sure. Maybe a play button, it depends on your game.
