Me and my brother’s game, Obby Duel has 700 visits, and when I search “Obby Duel” on the search bar my game won’t show at all.
It only shows up if I type it in quotes, which is really annoying considering that no one literally does that.
My guess: My guess is probably that there are many games that spam the keyword “Obby”. I want Roblox to make the games with more specific names to what the player was searching to show.

When the game gets more fame, it will start to appear on the search instantly, until then, you gotta wait bud, also you can try adding tags in the game description.
When was it released? New games often don’t show.
No one can find my game and it’s been over a year. It’s really sad. I ask people to play it and they say they can’t find it. I have to give them the experience number.

It was released to the platform in 2021, but it was private.
Then it got public in June 2023 after entirely remaking the game. Then in July I changed it’s name to “Obby Duel”. It has been out for a month.
I contacted youtubers everyday for months. They’re the ones who always said they couldn’t find it. Do I really need to sponsor it so it can show up in the search engine? That just seems wrong.
Maybe you can try to link the game to them, so that if they click the link it’ll transform them into your game.
I haven’t been able to add links in youtube.
What has been holding you back? As far as I remember there is no requirement for posting links.
This is all related to Roblox earnings, when your game starts making money for them(through the fees), it will get better ratings. That’s why popular games appear at the top even tho the word isn’t in there.
Sometimes a good beginner strategy to increase the search rating is to use the Roblox ad system.
It’s just every time I make an ad, it only gets me like 300+ visits when I put like 1k Robux into it. For me ads are just like gambling, the most money spent, the most success. You also have a chance of a very unlucky day where maybe 10 people have spent like 300k+ Robux.
Ads are just not my taste.
Is your game monetized? Or at least does it have methods to keep players engaged(for example making them come back, invite friends, etc)?
Ads only make a spark, without fuel, you can’t make a fire.
The searching system on roblox has always been a little odd as sometimes the game I look up won’t even come up at all and unrelated games pop up instead.
Really? It doesn’t show my comment if I include a link. I just give them the id number or now I can tell them to search in quotes.
I have added an invite friends prompt and a bot system to prevent players from leaving fast.
I’m gonna revive this topic as I still need an answer for this. The game has 1.3k visits now but roblox still won’t show it. But the first game that showed up when I searched “obby duel” kept overusing the keyword “obby”

Roblox should just simply stop promoting games that abuse keywords!
