Today I was gonna play my games with my friends, and I looked them up, only to find them next to copies of them with the exact same images and description.
(Ignore the middle game, it’s something private in case I lose the original.)
You can see there is almost no way to tell the difference unless you look at the like ratio, which is a fairly small number.
I used an alt account to go into one of these to see what they even have, and it took me to an old, badly made, cashgrab tycoon.
I need help with this, and to have this resolved, because I do not want to have visits that were originally for my game, to go to someone else’s game.
You could reach out to support to report these games, but sadly I don’t expect them to do much considering their track record of AI/automated slop responses. (Roblox, please hire more moderators)
1- Go to Roblox Support, fill out the form and categorize your form under DMCA > Owner DMCA Claim. Then, send them the link of your original game, and the links to the games that ‘copies’ your original game, and ask them to delete these games.
2- Go to gmail.com, sign in with the email linked to your Roblox account, and contact copyright_agent@roblox.com. Send them the links to your original and copied games, and ask them to delete the copied games.
These doesn’t always work, so you better try the third option.
3- Use the Rights Manager feature.
Rights Manager allows you to take down any copied content stolen from you, no matter it’s a game or asset.
Read about it here to know what it is, how to use it and what are the requirements to use it.
yeah so i went to roblox support and they said they supposedly couldnt take down the games because i supposedly permitted it even though i said that i did share assets with people before but the assets were never related to those 2 games, and i stated that clearly but they might have just overlooked it
This is how I found out you can do exact searches using quotes lol
But yeah same thing with my game. Its just another one of those scams that teleport you to 20 different games, and you end up in some random tycoon. So I guess its not THAT bad.
