My game's quality is dropping. PLEASE HELP

Hey! so I’ve been working on a new project, and have been trying to master visually appealing high-quality scenes, and in Roblox studio, it looks great! (of course the builds could use work but, you get the point). But the moment I launch in Roblox Player the quality goes DOWN, I’m going to show images explaining what I’m saying, but even the screenshots can’t pickup how much the quality drops, and yes I have forced graphics level 10 and future in LightingStyle. Please help me yall

Adding in, all of the wall reflections disappear too

Do you have multiple scripts that might be lagging between the Server and the Client and causing the quality drop? In Studio your computer is acting as the server as well so the lag might not be showing up and causing this issue.

Maybe your computer can’t handle all the Rendering stuff you have going on.
Particles, reflections, lighting are all fairly hard on your graphics card.
I don’t think forcing Graphics to 10 will help if the graphics card isn’t able to do it.

Maybe make it playable so we can test it and see if we get the same issue.

All my scripts are optimized, I made sure to disable them all to see if I got the same results. And unfortunately I did, and I have VERY good specs, if my PC is having a problem running graphics due to my specs, then I doubt anyone’s will be able to run it

What if you just take that single building model and put it on a blank baseplate instead of having the whole game? You could test it to see if that much smaller model works better.

Hehe, also, please reply to the person you mean to reply to. Since you replied to yourself I didn’t get an actual notification that you replied to me. I just saw that another reply had been made on the post.

Whops my fault! Thought I did. And I just tried this, same problem.

Are you using any studio beta features? I’m pretty sure that you can’t actually see them in game until they are fully released

Oh turning of my beta features worked! It was the united lighting feature, turning “Future” Into “Realistic”. I wonder when it will get released, considering I don’t actually see a difference between the two other then the fact one works, I wonder if it ever will release.

I have actually had this issue myself, if you’re using the Unified Lighting beta, then that is it. Using Realistic lighting style and Prioritized lighting quality (I dont know if it fixes when you turn it off) makes the game run Shadowmap on the player, since its not released yet.

Turning of the Unified Lighting beta and setting the lighting to Future should fix it.
