My Medieval Europe Project in the works

I had plans of doing the holy land as well but I’ve decided to just stick for Europe for the time being and expand later.

^ Bavarian Castle

^ Danish pagan village

My next plans are to work on Scandanavia and make some huge mountains and caves with more pagan villages. Next will be the kingdoms in Britain and to finish the rest of central Europe. I’ll launch, and if things take off I will expand into Byzantium, where I can make some key spots like the Hagia Sophia.

Now the way this works is that its open world and community based, meaning it will be left to be maintained by themselves in their own individual kingdoms and be administered if necessary.

Suggestions needed:

  1. I’d like to know some lesser-known sites to be known about in Europe, like Saintly burial sites similar to ones like in Canturbury or anything that just stands out in general.

  2. Some artifacts of all religions would be most appreciated to be included. Mythical items too, like the Ark of the Covenant or Holy Grail. I know of some pagan ones but I need to do more research on it, like some flaming sword and Thor’s hammer.

  3. I’m thinking of making a spawn room be the main point to decide on where you go. Is that a good idea? It’ll be the main regions, Britain, Scandanavia, and sections of Europe. To go into more specific settlements they will have to be in the group of that kingdom. Sound alright?

If there are any other specific suggestions I’d gladly take it.
Thanks.

It looks alright so far. However, are the images provided the final products?
The Bavarian Castle has a floating cube for some reason:

This area in the Danish Pagan Village looks really dark:

In fact, the entire word just looks dark and hard to look at. The shadows are way to dark and extreme.

The spawn idea sounds alright.

I’d recommend including Eastern Europe, the Mediterranean, the Iberian Peninsula, Russia, and Iceland.

Also, the holy land is not in Europe…?

I love this idea! I think it’s very creative and educational. I agree with @Macawmangrovve12 about expanding the map. Keep up the good work! :+1:

Also, in the final version, will you be able to teleport to the different locations? It would be good if you could because by the looks of it the developments are quite far apart.

Yes. I know it’s not in Europe.

It’s quite obviously not the final product.

801, after the formation of the HRE but near the end of the war against the pagan Old Saxony. After that it’s free for factions to decide how history should go.

I don’t have a discord yet, it’s way early into development lol.

Late reply sorry lol, but yes I do plan on getting to Byzantium at some point. I really wanna try my hand at making a Hagia Sofia but I feel like I might find trouble considering the map size. It’s in my mind though.
