Hello,
So a while ago I exported a model from Blender to Roblox Studio and the textures were all ok, but recently I noticed that the textures are blurry, I don’t know if it’s because Roblox didn’t compress the textures before and now it’s doing that, the first time I exported the model that all the textures were in great quality.
the first time I exported:
the texture now:
I’ve already tried placing the textures separately, importing the model again, but nothing works, IF there is no way to solve this, how can I place the textures in a decent quality?
hey! I don’t know a whole lot about this, but if I had to make a very uneducated guess, I think when you first export, it’s grabbing the image id, and putting it onto the mesh, the 2nd time, it’s grabbing the decal id, which is compressed, and putting it onto the mesh, try using the image id instead of the decal, you can find the image id in your creations
Thanks for the help, but it didn’t work, I wanted to understand how Roblox Studio uploaded the image in high quality, I was even able to test it in the game, but now the quality is simply so bad that I can’t see anything. These two images that I uploaded are of the same model at different times without changing anything.
Ok, nvm, I just gave up and remade the UV Maps and baked the textures again.
