(Yes I am literally like never on here(DevForum) so this is truly my start eeek excited )
This is more of a minor thing for me but I’ve noticed quite a lot that you rely on the same font for most of your UI, so don’t be afraid to change it up a little each time! It might also be cool to make some icons and add them to the buttons, so that they’re even easier to understand and aren’t just text objects.
As for specifics…
Perhaps on the top of your Special testing menu, you can move the title to the right a bit as it feels like it’s quite close to the edge of the UI. It also might be nice if you can use TextSizeConstraint to keep the size of your font the same throughout to maintain a form of consistency among those elements.
What matters most is how scalable the UI is. Is it clear and easy to understand in general, but also clear to see on varying screen sizes? If it scales well, then designing it how you want is up to you! I like to vary the colour and design depending on the themes of the game and style of the game, but you might like to keep the UI a similar style throughout all your projects, so its really up to you!
Hey xeno, didn’t expect to see you here (we used to talk on discord a while back)
The UI looks good, I like the Allavine Islands UI the most
the only thing I can point out is some minor inconsistent text sizes, that comes with using TextScaled
the way I deal with this issue is having a TextLabel with a transparent background and then parent it to whatever frame you want as a background and reduce the Y Size of all TextLabels until the size looks more even
before and after doing this
green is the TextLabel size
as you can see it gives the UI a more clean look, the only downside with this though is it usually wont work well if the text is super long
