Ok so, yeah no this was fair.
Stop trying to make Dominuses. This is what happens lol.
Not sure why they counted it as spam, my guess is cause there is a spam load of fake Dominus on the catalog.
So yeah, this is fair.
Stop making them ig would probably be the best thing to do, as this will probably happen again lol

Contact Roblox Support and they restore it as it isnt violating any rules against spam nor any other rules
Roblox doesn’t seem to moderate dominuses that aren’t actual copies anymore since start of 2023
I saw alot of accessories getting falsely moderated for spam but you can just restore it with roblox support. It being squid game themed should also be fine since netflix seems to be ok with those assets and games at the moment
I disagree to both posts above mine honestly. Theres no argument it being violating the rules against “spam” but just saying that “Yea its a dominus so it must be against the rules”

So from my understanding of this, it does in fact violate the TOS.
To my understanding, roblox no longer moderates dominuses unless they are a direct copy since the start of 2023 because they let a uploaded UGC dominus stay on the platform starting a chain reaction into people creating dominuses and i could be wrong but i dont think they ever got moderated and this was before public UGC was a thing
They also state this but probably doesnt mean alot here

yeah uh that seems to state in the case that its like a regular thing, of which they wont take action. Dominuses are roblox IP in some shape or form and are not a regular thing. At least thats what I gather from the text.
Ok this does not mean anything in the grand scheme of things, this is like if somebody robbed a bank, and the cops decided to just not do anything in that case, it doesnt make it any less illegal.

You made a fake dominus which is lame and you also made it based off of squid game and used squid game in its name 
It seems more likely that completely different designed dominuses are in the “grey area” and roblox no longer takes action against them for any reason but it could also be average moderation not taking action against any items
Its more likely that roblox accidentally has taken this item down for “spam” and not for IP related stuff. I saw this alot and ugc creators always needed to contact support and they restored the item. The “spam” related reason was not only dominuses but any kind of stuff

FYI the Hood mesh for that Dominus is directly ripped from Roblox’s Dominus mesh, so it is in every way infringing on their copyright lol.
That said, Roblox moderation being barely enforced on items on the Catalog does not change any actual rules, it only changes your chances of not being caught.
Unless an actual statement or rule is deliberately made/changed to allow for something that previously was prohibited, you can safely assume it’s not allowed, no matter how bad the enforcement is.
So OP’s item, even if taken down for reasons other than copyright infringment, deserves to be taken down & reinstating it would technically be rulebreaking. Not like we can stop you though

That is a fair point, robloxs moderation is kinda bad lol and that could be it.
I still think otherwise cause like, the tos so uh yeah ig lol.
I think the best thing to do would just attempt to appeal it and see what they say. Also the post above this lol.
Honestly it is kinda robloxs fault to begin with and them allowing it to get restored and getting the moderation action removed is kinda on roblox. It is a problem with roblox moderation and the appeals team combined doing a bad job doing backround checks as a company. If roblox doesn’t take action against custom dominuses then i don’t see any problem even if it is violating their “IP” since its their platform and they are moderating what they dont like even if the Moderation is kinda bad
It may be against the rules but it is robloxs fault to not restrict this stuff. I don’t disagree with you on this at all
Also small note: I reported via DSA before certain UGC items and roblox said that they “do not violate the rules” and just took action against those fake faces but only if it was a direct copy and not edited.
Edit: If roblox themselves say that it doesn’t violate their rules (even if their Moderation is bad) then i dont see a problem seeing custom dominuses

- Dominus is copyrighted Roblox item, that no one allowed to copy or steal.
- Using Squid Game assets in your own items and its names.
- Copying official Roblox assets (dominuses, valks, and something like that).
What you’re yapping about? He just copied official Roblox’s dominus mesh and even used Squid Game in the name. Even dominus is official Roblox’s copyrighted item, that no one able to copy or steal.

This is not unfairly moderated it seems you have copied the dominus that roblox has it and also it violates TOS as in for Do not create items that is similar to valuable and limited items creators are making tons of money roblox prevented it from copying another valauble and limited items Read the Roblox TOS
