My original song was unfairly moderated

My friend made an original theme for my Roblox experience that he vouches used no sampling or splicing from copyrighted works. However, Roblox’s automated copyright detection false flagged my song and I had to appeal, but Roblox Support’s loaded language implies they think I am a liar.

Is there any way to get my audio back, because support has just been a brick wall.

First of all, are you sure it’s an original theme and your friend didn’t ‘steal’ it from the internet claiming that they made it?

He says he didn’t take it, and I tried Shazam to no avail.

Alright.

I was dealing with the same problem yesterday. Fixed it by high-pitching the audio and speeding it up a little bit, then uploading this version to Roblox (you can use this website to do it quickly)

And in Roblox Studio, you can re-pitch and re-speed it through the PlaybackSpeed property in the sound.

If you don’t want to do this, try adding a disclaimer to the audio description. Something like:

“This audio is entirely original and does not infringe on any copyrights or intellectual property rights. I hold full rights to its creation and use.”

This doesn’t always work, but I suggested it to some people and it worked for most of them.

If none of this works (which is unlikely), Roblox Support is your only hope.

The “this audio is owned by me” jargon didn’t work and got it instantly deleted, so I’m going to try to upload a modified version when I get home.
