The pumpkin heads look straight out TERRIFYING. I definitely would approve this for a good halloween accessory, as it looks very creepy and good as well. I mean, I do not think I can carve a pumpkin like that, just keep moving forward and do not give up. Im sure one day that goal of yours will be complete.

I like a lot of these but I got a feeling some of them are a bit too creepy / realistic for Roblox. Keep up the great work thought, creepy as some are they are super cool :+1:

Nice! I wish the best of luck to you on your journey. The fox/dog heads however, could be problematic. While I’m not against furries, it seems like a bit of a stretch to put it on Roblox, a platform mostly consisting of 6-12 year olds. Sadly, there will always be some users that just take it too far, so I wouldn’t recommend it.

It’s so strange, why do people suddenly think animal heads and things aren’t for younger audiences??

It’s like “woa woa, my little pony show? I don’t know, doesn’t seem appropriate to kids… you know… because of them being horses…”

Kinks in the adult world aren’t part of kids having fun. Don’t bring that stuff into kids worlds.

No no no, that’s impossible. The problem isn’t items, the problem are the users.

You are trying to prevent a murderer from murdering by taking away everything they could use to hurt someone. So… knives…hammers… bats… chairs… pencils… tweezers… straws… blankets…pillows…shoe strings… it just gets really silly really fast (such as saying cartoon animals shouldn’t be around kids!)

It’s all bananas.

Finally, someone who gets it. People can really suck sometimes.

You have to treat every item as though it’s going to get abused, because it probably will.

Sorry, should have clarified that this applies to risky items. A pumpkin head won’t get abused.

(silly me)

1.How do you make such detailed and crisp textures? 2. Are they all done in blender? 3. If this was all done in blender, which texture brushes did you use?

I do the textures in zbrush, just straight on the model.

It helps a lot to texture different objects that are actually modeled as their own subtool, then combine them all into one mesh at the end after they are already painted.

But the trick with textures (especially with such small texture sizes) is all about the UVs. You have to give more UV room where more detail helps. So places where colors change and you need more resolution to get a sharper edge.

It’s just something to be more mindful about when doing the UVs and trying to stretch them to give more room in those spots.

One more question (sorry that I ask so many questions) but what size would you recommend for textures? I usually use 2048 x 2048

The UGC items have a maximum of 256 textures I think (so really small!) but for your own things it’s better to have large textures, and then export smaller for what you need. So doing them in 2k seems fine, but a lot of things could do with way less and still be ok.

Really depends more on how detailed the thing is (like if you are using a bunch of different objects with solid colors, you could get away with a SUPER tiny texture and be completely ok, just by controlling your UVs better).
