My Roblox Dev Vault: Scripts & Ideas to Explore

Hi everyone,

I’ve worked on a variety of my own projects—some more polished, some prototypes, and some just experimental ideas. I wanted to share these creations and scripts with the community, not only to showcase what I’ve worked on but also in the hope that you might find inspiration, learn from them, or even improve upon them.

While these aren’t all finished or perfectly polished, I think there’s value in opening them up for others to explore and grow. If you take any of these ideas further, I’d love to see what you create—even years down the line!

Here’s the list, starting from the most impressive:

1. Polaris Dark RP

A game where I learned about creating immersive environments.

  • Unique Feature: A cutscene loading screen with controlled lights, sounds, and UI interactions.
  • Dynamic Mechanics: The ability to toggle cutscenes depending on whether you’re in Studio or the published game.
  • NPC Integration: Added NPCs to make the space feel lively, especially in the starting train station.
While I aimed for neat scripting, it could be structured better looking back. However, I’m proud of the dynamic elements and flexibility.

2. Cyber City

This project was inspired by Electric State Dark RP and featured:

  • Jetpacks: Customized a Roblox gear and improved its controls and maneuvers.
  • Dynamic Doors: Doors adjusted to any size without breaking animations, using variable-driven tweening.
  • Global Shutdown: An entire city reacts to a power-down switch, with synchronized lighting and sound effects.

3. Winter Table Manager

This is more of a scripting framework inspired by Basic Admin Essentials.

  • Key Takeaway: Using a single remote for multiple tasks by filtering commands with parameters like “setup.”
  • Flexible Configuration: Scripts adapt to either default or custom configurations, making it easy to reuse.

4. Temple of Meditation

A simple game with a focus on ambiance:

  • Loading Screen: A blurred effect fades away once the game loads.
  • Cutscene Creation: Made a cutscene (not included in the game) with Moonlight Animator. If you’re interested, you can use this tool and script to add it to the game.

5. Star Trek Teleport Pads

Inspired by Star Trek, this game features:

  • Teleportation System: Create parts, assign pads, and teleport between them.
  • Gameplay Learning Curve: It requires some player learning, something I’d improve with better UX if revisited.

6. Spice Seekers Prototype

A prototype dungeon game focusing on simplicity:

  • Combat System: Uses magnitude detection to damage NPCs instead of complex collision systems.
  • Visual Simplicity: Welded a non-collidable part with a trail effect to simulate weapon swings.

7. Christmas Eve

This project is all about the intro:

  • Idea behind it: A group of kids approaches the only house in the neighborhood that hates Christmas.

While it’s unfinished, the intro is something I’m proud of for its atmosphere.

8. Untitled Game (Food Truck Map)

Inspired by mobile games where you run a food shop:

  • Gameplay Loop: Assemble dishes, upgrade your shop, and manage resources.
  • Perspective: First-person view inside a food truck, creating an immersive experience.

That’s everything I wanted to share for now. If any of these ideas resonate with you or spark your creativity, feel free to take them and make them your own. Whether it’s improving a script, expanding on a mechanic, or using an idea as a foundation, I’d be thrilled to see what you come up with.

Even if it’s years from now, share your work with me—I’d love to see how these concepts evolve.

Thanks for taking the time to explore my creations!
