My Roblox FPS is not very good even with good specs, and it's not capped at 60 FPS

hey there, I’ve been having this issue lately, where my computer is not reaching it’s max FPS, even when my specs are quite decent

solutions I’ve tried:

  • changing the max FPS to 240
  • updating my drivers
  • adding an FPS unlocker

my specs include an Intel(R) Core™ i7-9700 CPU @ 3.00GHz with 48 gigs of RAM (47.9 GB usable)
I usually play The Strongest Battlegrounds, which is a pretty particle-heavy game, especially because of the VFX found in every attack

my FPS while playing TSB

as you can see, it’s hitting about 60-70 FPS max on the lowest graphic quality setting
it still takes a dip when I use an attack, this FPS is when I’m stationary
it’s still not hitting it’s peak in my opinion, is there anything I can do?

if you have a solution, please help me out! thanks

What sort of specs are you running and what experience(s) have you tried to play in? What is the usual FPS that you are getting in them?

One thing to note is that sometimes vsync will be forced onto games even if the game itself isn’t using vsync. So if your monitor only gets 60fps or is set to only get 60fps(check display settings and monitor settings, sometimes it’s not set to max fps immediately), that might be the issue. See if there are driver settings that you can access and turn off vsync there or “let the application decide”. (Though if your monitor only gets 60fps, the extra power draw for the extra frames you mostly won’t see is probably not worth it).

Are you sure its not your Integrated graphics being your bottle neck?

I don’t see any dedicated graphics here for actual game rendering.

If you want to get more framerate you need a graphics card and the drivers for said card, a bunch of ram or a good CPU wont give you fps, infact, your lucky your CPU has an IGPU or else you can’t even boot Roblox without more then 20 FPS. I don’t know where you got 48 gigs of ram from, if you spent all your cash on the Ram and didn’t leave some for a dedicated graphics card, that’s why you aren’t getting good framerate.
