My submitted UGC portfolio [Feedback is welcome!]

image

Hello everyone,

I am excited to share with you my recently submitted Roblox UGC portfolio. As an avid Roblox player and creator, I have been working on my UGC portfolio for quite some time now, and I am thrilled to finally submit it for review. I have poured countless hours into designing and perfecting each item, and I am proud of the results.

My portfolio includes a variety of items, ranging from hats to gear accessories. I wanted to create a diverse collection that would appeal to a wide audience. Each item is unique and has its own personality, making it stand out from the rest. To support the repution of each accessory, I’ll make clothing sets that you can wear to match with each accessory. Some of the matching clothing sets can be found in the hidden folders below the images.

I have always been passionate about creating things and the process of designing, testing, and refining my items has been incredibly rewarding, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

Becoming a part of the UGC program is my ultimate goal. As someone who already has experience making clothing (with over 230,000 sales across more than 450 self-made clothing items) for my clothing group, Gazuse Clothing, and participating in the Developer Exchange (DevEx) program, I believe that I am well-positioned to excel in the UGC program. The UGC program is a prestigious opportunity that would provide me with a greater degree of creative freedom and enable me to showcase my skills as a designer on a much larger scale.

Additionally, I would love to hear any feedback or suggestions that you may have regarding my portfolio. Your input is valuable to me, and I am open to any constructive criticism or ideas that can help me improve my creations. Thank you for taking the time to read about my UGC portfolio, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

3D Modeling Timelapses

I have recorded some of the 3D modeling process for the accessories that are showcased in the playlist link provided below. I wanted to share the behind-the-scenes work that goes into designing these objects and give viewers a glimpse into the creative process. By recording these videos, I hope to inspire other aspiring 3D modelers. Overall, it was a fun and rewarding experience to document my workflow and share it with others.

UGC Portfolio In-Game Experience

I created an in-game experience for my UGC portfolio on Roblox. Players can now click on each accessory to try them out and see how they look. Moreover, I added accessory reset buttons so that players can easily remove their current accessories. It’s a fun and interactive way to showcase my creations.

looks pretty good how long have you been modeling

a few things tho

the textures honestly dont look the greatest there a little too dark for me and maybe its just since it blends with the forum backround but the colors seem kinda dull and the fabric texture is kinda weird I do like the potato chip texture tho

most the ugc are pretty original but I have seen a few of them done before

also for the recording part did you use the youtube video? since it has to be an mp4 file and I dont think you can just do a youtube link im not to sure tho

anyways they look pretty decent hopefully you can get in

I’m glad that you’re being honest and giving me feedback!

I started using Blender back in 2017 for GFX work, but I never thought of using that skill to create actual avatar items. Three years ago, I started modeling again, and it gave me the idea of making my own stuff. This year, I was inspired by other UGC creators to create Roblox-related items and give the UGC application a shot!

I really appreciate your feedback as it gives me a better understanding of what I can improve. I understand that you find the texturing a bit bland. I went with a style that inspired me to create the textures like that. I wanted to make the style similar to other Roblox hat accessories. However, I will try to make the textures more unique next time and give them a better glow-up.

Lastly, I submitted the timelapse as an MP4 file in the UGC application. I just wanted to share my behind-the-scenes work on YouTube for everyone to see!

I’ve created an in-game experience for my UGC portfolio, which is now playable on Roblox!

  • Try out every accessory by clicking on them, and click the accessories again to remove them.

  • Remove your current accessories using the accessory reset GUI.

You’re right, It’s probably the best thing to do. I’ve seen some other people wait for 9 months or even more. I’ll still keep my hopes up, though! Thank you for the compliment!
