Ever since I created a custom bundle using the new roblox feature, my notifications have been broken. Whenever I receive a new notification, I get a notification badge and this is the only thing that I see.
It doesn’t matter if the new notification is supposed to be an accepted friend request, a game update, etc. it always just shows this. I had it dismissed before btw, so whenever I get a new notification it just sends me this one again instead of the notification it’s supposed to send.
I tried using the new bundle creations feature from a roblox game (Roblox Avatar Creator - Roblox) and it worked perfectly fine until my notifications suddenly broke completely and i am not able to stop this from happening at all
This notification has been stuck on this account and pressing “Dismiss” just make it reappear after reopening the menu and it doesn’t load any other notifications despite getting a new notification
This only occours on the account where i created the bundle and the notifications work perfectly fine on other accounts where i haven’t created any bundle
On the website it has the same issue but it doesn’t show the “All Caught up!” when dismissing the notification
I also tried logging out and logging back in and also deleting the cookies but nothing seems to actually help
It’s unlikely Roblox will do anything. This happened to me when I joined a group chat , left without reading all my notifications and I got stuck with notification (Devforum) and Devforum engineers said fixing it would not be worth it
DevForum notifications are separate to Roblox notifications. DevForum notifications are handled via Discourse, the forum software this forum runs upon. As such, Roblox has less control over the behaviour and generally also isn’t responsible for many of the bugs within it. Looking back at the thread, it seems like this, coupled with the fact that it is rare enough to occur, lead to it being not feasible enough to invest engineering efforts into fixing it, not just the fact that it was a notification bug.
You can, however, file a bug report or like an existing one on the http://meta.discourse.org/ forum for your issue.
