i try to play roblox and launch the client and suddenly the wifi just turns off on my computer and it wont come back unless i restart it, is it because of technical issues or am i just bad at taking care of a computer?
some conclusions i have come up with:
- other apps being open and contributing to my wifi being killed
- my drivers are damaged or outdated
- just the wifi.
just in case someone here knows a lot about “computerology” so this issue can be resolved and wont happen in the future.

Someone I knew had this problem once, but the next day, It just went away,
It was also happening during a big rainstorm, so we think that’s what caused it.
The wifi was on, but anytime we tried to use it, it would shutdown. (In youtube, roblox, etc.)
Once the rainstorm was gone, it went back to normal.
Hope this helps a little idk

The information provided is very broad as there’s key information missing such as not knowing if it’s a desktop or laptop and what network card you have. This makes it difficult to provide you a direct solution, however there’s a couple of things you could try first.
I’ve had this issue before and here are the fixes that I tried. It may not work for you:
-
Device Manager > Network Adapters > Click your network adapter > Power Management > Uncheck allow computer to turn off this device to save power (Windows could be turning off the driver to save power)?
-
Reinstalling the network driver (make sure you download the OEM/laptop manufacturer version if you are on a laptop since it’s the most stable driver and is been tested). If you don’t have a laptop, proceed to download and update to the most up-to-date version of the driver.
It also could be a ISP issue, as previously mentioned. Is this happening to just your computer or across multiple devices on your network?
