Names for furniture/object categories?

  1. What do you want to achieve?
    For furniture to be sorted into categories. This is for a home building system.

  2. What is the issue? I can’t think of any good categories to put. So far I have Electronic for electronic items.

  3. What solutions have you thought of so far?
    None.

I just can’t think of what different categories would be could to sort furniture into.

Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, Bathroom, Garage, Bedroom, Porch, Appliances, Seating, Surfaces, Storage, Personal Care, Decoration

Thanks! I will use those and probably add an Other category for things that don’t fit in with those categories.

Plumbing;
Lighting;
Comfort;
Decorations.

You can seperate your items into more detailed catrgories (i recomend this):

Electronics;
Lighting;
Plumbing;
Carpets;
Beds;
Doors;
Appliances;
Seating;
Garden;
Tables;
Decorations (Paintings, small decorations, anything else.)

Hey, thanks! Maybe I will have things called packs and maybe like Starter Bedroom Pack and it has bedroom related items.
