How do I apply for a job?
Please apply using our Application Center if you pass, you will be automatically ranked to trainee.

When are sessions hosted?
Shifts and trainings are announced in our Discord Server.
They are hosted at random by executives.

Nando's Chicken | Staff Regulations

Staff are expected to show the following at all times:

Maturity and respect must be displayed towards all members of the community
Orders given by executives must be followed at all times
Grammar must be used when dealing with a professional situation and at all times in game.
Only the job assigned to your specific role should be performed.

Waiters

This role can only be carried out by somebody on a PC/Laptop

The role of a waiter consists of the following steps:

1 | Greet customer(s) at the podium & ask them how many is in their party using CTRL Q
2 | Ask them where they would like to sit using CTRL E. (Upstairs, Downstairs, Premium, Roof)
3 | Hover your cursor over the podium to open the interface. Click their name & press serve.
4 | Ask them to follow you using CTRL Z.
5 | Show them to a table and ask if the table is okay. You may also allow them to pick a table.
6 | Click them using the menu giver to give them a menu. Tell them to take their time to order.
7 | If they do not order a drink, ask if they would like a drink
8 | Order whatever they ask for through the tills or iPad (if your rank allows)
9 | To open this interface, hover your cursor over the ordering station screen or hold the iPad.
10 | To navigate this interface, click on the options and follow the instructions shown.
11 | Give them their receipt and tell them their food will be there soon.
12 | To make drinks, refer to the cookbook located on the handbook.
13 | Collect the food from the kitchen counter and serve to the customer.
14 | Ask if they would like to order anything else.

Waiters should keep the following in mind when carrying out duties

1 | If there’s none waiting in the queue, please walk around and check on other customers
2 | In the event of a troll, please contact an executive
3 | Please try to bring out the food in a logical order (EG: Starters before Mains)
4 | Milkshakes are exclusive to the bar, customers cannot order these if they are sat at a table
5 | Right click food to remove it
6 | Only the food and drinks tab may be accessed by waiters, the others are executive only.
7 | Custom greetings may be used as long as the necessary steps are carried out.

Chefs

The role of a chef consists of the following steps:

1 | Wait at the kitchen printer in a single file line for orders to come through.
2 | The first person in line takes the order. People should not cut in line.
3 | If the person at the front takes more than 30 seconds. The person behind can take the order.
4 | Enter chef mode to begin making the order
5 | Click to grab the necessary ingredients to put them in the chef mode inventory
6 | Interact with any appliance by clicking on it
7 | Click the ingredient in the inventory then the appliance to place it.
8 | Once the ingredients are prepared, click them all and press Make Meal.
9 | Input the table number and press Finish

Chefs should keep the following in mind when carrying out duties

1 | The order can be removed by crossing off individual items on the ticket at the top
2 | The bin located in the kitchen will clear any ingredients in the chef mode inventory
3 | Chefs must take one order at a time if other chefs are queuing behind.
4 | Chefs may only leave the kitchen/bar if no customers are in game
5 | Keep checking the bar to see if customers are waiting. If so, please serve them by greeting and serving them what they order. (Drinks Only)

The Basement

The rules for the basement are as follows:

1 | Staff should enter the break room if they need to be AFK. Do not be AFK in the restaurant
2 | All other rooms in the basement are out of bounds unless given permission.

Nando's Chicken | Training Information

Each training is structured as follows:

1 | A training session will be announced 30 minutes before the start time.
2 | In this time, trainees should join & ask questions. Trainers & the host should prepare.
3 | The server will be locked at the start time. An introduction & listing of rules will follow.
4 | Trainees will be asked to line up behind their trainer and each group will be dismissed
5 | Trainers will then explain the step by step process of the specific role & any extra notes
6 | A test to demonstrate your knowledge will be carried out
7 | Results will be given and you will be ranked by a High Rank+ if you pass.
8 | The training will be dismissed.

TRAINERS

A staff member ranked Lead Chef/Waiter or above is allowed to train with the hosts permission.

A training is carried out by a trainer using the following steps:

1 | Join the game within the 30 minute waiting period before the training starts
2 | Ensure the handbook is open to copy from
3 | Follow the hosts instructions when the training begins
4 | Take the trainees to an appropriate area for the training.
5 | Ask the trainees to stand STS (Shoulder to Shoulder) in front of you.
6 | Ask them to say “PTS” if they wish to ask a question
7 | Direct the trainees to this handbook to refer to the cookbook or staff regulations if needed
8 | Recommend that they also take notes in some way. Allow them time to get prepared.
9 | Slowly copy & paste the role specific steps located in Staff Regulations
10 | Ask if the trainees would like any steps repeated & repeat any they request
11 | Go to the basement and list the basement rules in Staff Regulations
12 | Proceed to the final assessment

Final Assessments

1 | The final assessment for waiter requires the trainer to act as a guest & the trainee to serve them as they would usually in the main game.
2 | The final assessment for chef requires the trainee to make 3 different orders of the trainers choice, one of each different difficulty.

The difficulties are as follows:

Easy (Singular ingredient items, ie: breadsticks or soup)
Medium (Multi Ingredient Items, ie: chicken wings or burgers)
Hard (Lots of steps, ie: salad & wraps)

Post Training

1 | Once the training is complete, the trainer will determine whether the trainee has passed or failed based on if they feel they are ready to be a member of staff.
2 | If the trainer cannot rank, they should ask a higher rank to rank them if they pass.

HOSTS

The steps for hosting a training are as follows:

1 | Announce the training via the communications server & group shout 30 mins before starting
2 | Join the training centre and allocate trainers & name trainees. (Ask what device they are on)
3 | At start time, lock the server using :slock
4 | Introduce yourself and proceed to paste the training regulations listed below
5 | Ask the trainers to line up & dismiss each group one at a time
6 | Help out any groups if they require it and make sure the training is running smoothly
7 | After the trainees have been given their results, rank them if they pass.

Training Rules

Kindness, sensible & respect must be displayed towards all members of the community
Orders given by executives & trainers must be followed at all times
Grammar must be used when dealing with a professional situation and at all times in game.
Only the job assigned to your specific role should be performed.
Avoid going AFK during the training session.

Nando's Chicken | Affiliate Requirements

Below are the requirements in order to form an alliance with Nando’s Chicken.
The alliance request form can be found within our Discord Server.

The group must acquire 10k group members, (non-botted)

300+ Discord members, (non-botted)

Good reputation within the ROBLOX community.

Maintain an active game and positive community

Professionalism when required.

No past of scamming, free ranking or drama.

We expect all establishments to follow Roblox TOS.

Must be willing to attend and announce our events.**

Nando's Chicken | Promotion Guidelines

Lower ranks are promoted to Lead Waiter/Chef through meeting the following requirements:

Employed in your rank for at least 5 days
Has accumulated at least 200 points.

Once them requirements are met, you may be noticed by an executive for a promotion.

If you show extreme hard work and dedication, these requirements may be ignored by an SHR and you may get promoted without meeting them.

Nando's Chicken | Employee Incentives

Star of the Shift!

The star of the shift is awarded by the host of each shift. In order to be awarded this you need to show hard work, dedication and consistent activity during that shift.

If you are given star of the shift, you will gain the following:

Your avatars head will appear on all the boards in game
The star of the shift will be announced to the server
You will be given 5 points

Each selected star of the shift is logged and this counts towards higher rewards.

Employee of the Month!

Employee of the month is announced at the end of each month.

This is determined by many factors including:
Activity, hard work, positive interaction with the community & star of the shift numbers.
