I mean I guess. There’s just better ways to go about the anti-cheat than to use such a suspicious method. I don’t think you meant anything harmful, it just gives people the wrong impression.
The Admin Panel looks nice though. I’m more neutral on this stuff, but, if you clear up all the supscious stuff that may imply the wrong thing - and fix up the code, it’ll be a good Admin Panel.
Why are you deciding whether anti-cheat should come in a later version in the far future? You’re just making excuses up now to defend having access to everyone’s game that uses this panel.
Well I am flopping at making this anti-cheat work with all types of games . So I am not sure if I will have the anti-cheat added in the first version or later versions.
Fair enough, but probably should make it very clear in the original post that this should not be used in a production release of a game. The post makes it look like it was intended for use like that. Makes sense you’d want to get feedback on your work so far.
As for the concerns with backdoors, it might be a good idea to just make it easily opt-in/out. Harder to complain if someone hasn’t read the config and left it turned on, which is their own fault.
