I am in need of some fixing for my script in my upcoming sword fighting game. I have a video that shows a few things I want fixed.

For my sword, I have a kill effect on it. There are a few glitches and things that I can’t seem to fix myself.
First of all, when a player is killed by the sword, you can still collide with the player even though the character completely disappears. Second, when the player dies, their sword gets destroyed when its unequipped, but when equipped, they are still able to hold and swing it, meaning that it’s still possible to kill players while dead. Third, the second problem can cause a player to not respawn and continue to emit particles until they manually reset. Fourth and final problem, the player dies after the effect is disabled after one second, and I intended the player to die immediately, before the effect starts.
So what I need mostly: Make it so the player isn’t collide-able on death. Make it so the players tools, however many they have equipped, will completely disappear from their inventory on death so they cant use anything. Fix the glitch that happens when killed by someones sword while dead. Make it so the player dies before the effect happens.
