Need Advice On Revenue Split

Hey guys, I need a little bit of advice on how to do a revenue split. I will be a bit vague since the game is still in the works but any advice is appreciated!

About the game
The game is a roleplay game but a big aspect of the game would be involving cards

Scripter

  • Came up with game idea
  • Comes up with most game features/ ideas
  • Pretty advanced scripting (advanced datastores, AI, building system, etc)
  • Funded game from the start
  • In charge of social media, commissioning UI, main tester/ bug finder
  • Works with artist to get things done
  • Data organization outside of the game itself
  • Hiring/ commissioning anything else that is needed (sound designers, etc)

Scripter is in charge of the artist role/ funding it

Artist

  • In charge of photoshopping (Goal number of stuff is 1000+ and never stops increasing)
  • Charge of drawing characters /any other drawings needed (goal is 100+ and never stops increasing)

Builder

  • Builds a big roleplay map with different sections in low poly
  • Lots of buildings
  • Lots of models
  • Helps with some ideas
  • Makes accessory items (on a slow, consistent basis in the future)
  • Custom models (like pets, etc)
  • Makes custom particles (on a slow, consistent basis in the future)
  • Animates (pretty complex animations, don’t require too much of it)

Notes
The game is pretty art heavy and includes some type of cards. The game is being completely funded by the scripter. The builder has been with the scripter since the beginning.

You could split depending in what they do and how much they do. Usually for me, i’d Give the scripts and the builders a bit more than the artist would get, for example. Scripter gets 40%, builder gets 40% and artist would get 20%. Now since you said its art heavy. You could give more towards the artist for example the artist instead would take 30%. It varies a lot

The scripters doing a lot more, so I’d say a 40 - scripter, 35 - builder, 25 - artist
