Hello, devs! I have been working on making an interior for an ice cream shop. Currently I am not done with it yet, I plan on adding minor details to make it look more better and polished. This build is for my backrooms game which I am currently working on! Please give me some feedback on how I can improve!
Hey! Darren, I love the build you made so far, and I have some suggestions for improving it and making it even cooler.
You could add more items on the tables such as Trays with Modern candles using Particle Emitters for fire with the right Neon colors to match the other lights.
You could put menus on the tables with a cool decal on it, so it looks like it has actual text on the menus.
Furthermore, you could rotate every chair slightly, making it more realistic.
I hope these suggestions helped you out! Can’t wait to see the result.
Some chairs should be in random positions more than just straight forward.
Since it’s a backrooms game, it generally could provide some horror glitch effect. A chair glitched in the roof along with the table.
A lightsource at the choice of ice cream options would be entirely interesting.
Add perhaps a light source at the neon texts.
To add on to table being in random positions, a little of them could be on the floor.
Since this is an ice cream shop, there could be random deserts on the table. Cheesecakes, etc.
There could be random signs also located advertising a sale. 2-For-1!
If I were to envision a restaurant or an establishment of a similar regard, one thing that is always present is relevant work related items. I would recommend looking up “inside of ice cream store” and adding in relevant work items in their respective places, along with the suggestions posited by others that have replied! This should most definitely give it a more authentic feel.
