Hey guys, I’m @refightx. I’m currently working on a lobby system for my game. I want to know what I can improve, whether it be UI/Scripting or building wise. What do yall think about it? I tried to make it as satisfying as possible. Also there are no sound effects at the moment.
The button that appears when you hover over the Button will be changed to this.
Ok, I’ll try replacing it with an object. Which object should it be though? Maybe like a gun? Or something pertaining to horror? I’ll be happy to take suggestions. I do like the blur though. Maybe I can use a depth of field, and use like strength 5 blur with it. I’ll try that when I get the chance! Great suggestion!
I’m the scripter, I build a little, and I modeled the assets. I have a builder who’s my friend we made the game together. We also hired a UI designer to make the button I showed. And a few other things. We also hired a modeler to create the monster or the game. So I have some help. I’m hoping to release it to pre-alpha in about 3 weeks!
Using depth of field would result in only the object being in main focus not being blurry so i think you’d like that!
I think that object should be something in theme with your game, maybe the player’s main tool, maybe a character…
This lobby UI looks EXTREMELY good and unique for a Roblox game! Excellent job on creating it! How long did it take for you to make this lobby UI? What is the game about?
The UI doesn’t look good, it looks AWESOME! Something I would add is occasionally, a shadow would run or dash accross the screen or at least something. That adds some sort of “presence” to this Lobby (and obviously sound effects when you add them).
