Need feedback(s) on my first GUI design

Hi, as the title says this is my first GUI design.

Warning its pretty bad so watch it at your own risk

test

Heres a video of how it will actually work in game.

as you may already know this is for a tower defense game and im not exactly sure is it ready to move on or need more elements.
many things are still a subject to change (ofc) like the viewport frame, background, etc.
also it would be nice if you could rate this 1-10.

any feedback will be appreciated C:

Nice, but I would make it less overcrowed, so the borders of the buttons don’t touch eachother.

I also thought of that but wasn’t sure if I should do it. I will start working on it now, thanks for your feedback also can you rate this ui design 1 - 10 please C:

I’d rate it a 7/10, you could probably improve some more things, but I don’t exactly know what since I’m not a good ui designer.

alr thanks I thought i would get below 5

here’s a improved one still not in its final state.
Just not sure where to put the other buttons

Capture

Idk what to add more on this, I think its good but just need some more feedbacks to finish it off.

I dont think you should stretch the pattern, it makes it look unproffesional. Also, there are alot of different fonts and styles, you should make it more consistent

That’s a really good feedback, I will start working on it now. Thanks for you feedback

https://doy2mn9upadnk.cloudfront.net/images/emoji/twitter/boom.png?v=12 this is supposed to be a button to disable/enable tower vfx for less lag if you are on mobile.

https://doy2mn9upadnk.cloudfront.net/images/emoji/twitter/white_large_square.png?v=12 this is supposed to make a tower invisible if there are alot of towers (probaly not a good reason).

Heya!

Well, since this is your first UI design for your project, it is unique for a good start!

You can make it even better if you create your iconography for the buttons and selection — choosing from something solid (both with/without outlines) or colorful.

Another thing to consider is the interface layout and its information structure. I understand that this project has many NPCs with different backgrounds and abilities. Still, I believe that every detail can be organized, creating a balanced and better experience for users, especially visually!

Last but not least, is also playing around with gradients/solid colors that combine with your experience so you can improve the look of the background and perhaps patterns (in case of applying)

This GUI is VERY GOOD FOR YOUR FIRST GUI EVER! Great job on it! How long did it take for you to make it in total?

In total it was like 1 day of work but I took a break of a 3 days between making it so it took me 1 week to finish it.
