Need help adding to my map

I want to make it feel more full and realistic, but I am not a builder so I am not sure what to add.

This map looks great! It’s very dark though, unless it’s supposed to be a scary horror game. Otherwise, great job on this! I recommend adding more decorations on the wall like clocks and paintings, and maybe some flowers around the place. How long did this take to build?

Not to long to build maybe a day or two. I am better at terrain stuff like these for example.

It’s not bad, really! I think i could use a tip or two from you! The only thing I advice is learning lighting. If you are doing horror games the lighting from lanterns for example. Lanterns in horror games need to be white with a hint of yellow (feel free to have multiple lights overlay each other) and the radius as low as you can until you can barely see far with the lantern.

Like you can only see maybe 2 feet away and it fades to black. That is all of the tips I will be giving you until I think of some more.

And to help with the realism, as soon as I get my computer after I go home I can hook you up with some textures and links. If you don’t mind I am looking for a job as texturing and making clothes(not bad but not good either, program broke so I am working for what I got) but has textures! I can help with lighting too, but not a fan of building tbh.

I’m open to criticism and not bothered by differing opinions — to each their own. However, it seems you haven’t released any games or content yourself, so I’d suggest focusing on building your own projects first before offering feedback.

Additionally, everything here was created using meshes and PBR textures, so I don’t need assistance in that area.

Yeah, not fond of showing off my work. Got really attacked for a render, so sorry for not showing anything. I didn’t know you wers using PBR textures because it is too dark to see. I have projects that I am working on that has maps, obviously. I am not a beginner. I’ve been working on some projects for almost a year.

Sorry, Jesus.

Nothing to be sorry about my friend, you were giving back feedback. However to provide meaningful feedback, sometimes I like to know how much one knows on that topic for credibility. I was not mad, nor bothered by your statement!

I agree and I am sorry too. I reacted badly. Twice. And you couldn’t have known that I’ve been making games or maps for a while, so I apologize for that too.

i’d reckon more greenery. The maps looking great but some nice vines and perhaps some bushes would probably pull it all together. Then again idk what style this game is and whether its supposed to be abandoned. give it a go!
