My friends and I have created a game called “Fields of Normandy”. This game is as the name says, based on the battle for Normandy. Naturally this means we have an allies and axis team. Anyways, for our axis team we used the iron cross. I have seen the iron cross on games all over roblox, and made sure not to use any variant of it that had red/white coloring, or anything of the sort that could be seen as a nazi symbol. Our game however, still got moderated for its usage. I doubt roblox will reverse this, I mean in the message they sent me they basically told me they wouldn’t, so I need your help coming up with another symbol to use.
Below are the instances it’s used in our game. It is not used anywhere outside of these places, so we just need replacements for these specific things.
Any ideas for a replacement would be gratefully appreciated. All I can personally think of at the moment is a German flag, but I think that would ruin the aesthetic.
You should use the Reichsadler or in english the imperial eagle. It is still used by Germany to this day but also was used before the second world war.
I feel like that would be worse. The eagles were associated with the nazis, where as the iron cross was more of a “German” thing, not nazi. What I mean is the eagle was used in nazi propaganda and in their symbols often, so I feel like that would be worse.
Not a bad idea… for the team change we decided we are going to make vignettes of a German and American or British soldier as the team selection. The triangle could be good for the deployment screen though, thank you for the idea.
