Need Help Exporting Parts of Roblox Chatacters Into Blender

I’ve been working on my 3D modeling for a bit now using Blender and I’m starting to try to branch out into accessories that devs can use in their games. I was thinking about starting things simple with a helmet and started to notice as I would export it to roblox the helmet was very much off scale to the classic roblox character head. I then thought of importing a roblox character head into Blender to help with scaling. I exported a 2.0 rig as a .obj file and imported it into Blender but it never showed up. I selected the head and tried to export it and that didn’t work. Is there something I’m missing here?

I just tried doing this myself. Is this what you were trying to accomplish?

or did I read it wrong??

Are you sure it actually is imported but you aren’t able to see the character because it isn’t at the origin?

I have the placement cursor right at the origin and it doesn’t appear. The rig’s name is in the explorer but but there is no rig to build around.

Did you look around? If the obj is in the workspace, it is somewhere in that blender session. Also when you originally imported, did you import as an obj or mtl?

I tried both and they didn’t show up.

Import it again as an obj and send a picture of what you see (fullscreen)

By workspace, you are referring to the scene in Blender right?

Even though your placement cursor is at the origin, it wont import at that spot. You need to set the Geometry to origin

I just remembered it was the explorer and the model wouldn’t show up in the workspace. Sorry for the confusion.

Can you send a picture of your scene in Blender when you import your character? It should be on the top right

I’m on my phone rn and can’t take a screenshot. I’ll send you one when I get the chance.

I noticed why it wouldn’t show up now. The whole map was exported and the rig was not by the spawn.
