Need help getting more players with my game

Hi, I’m working on a game and it’s almost finished in development, but I’m running into a problem. I have a pretty good community for the game, and the game is good itself, people would agree, but it doesn’t get any players, and I’m not sure why.

I see others with games with concurrent players, but im still trying to figure out how to get active players myself. I can never get enough people. Am I just being impatient? Is the game getting there? Here’s the link, if you were wondering.

Ads take time to generate, videos take time to get views, Games take time to get players. I would do whatever I can to spread my game across platforms. Use stuff like Twitter/X, and Youtube. Make roblox ads and keep trying to get a source of revenue to keep promoting. Add invite benefits. Get friends to play and invite other friends. Share the game at your school.

Thanks for this, I’ll try to spread the word a bit more.

Some good advice is to look at your game’s analytics, more specifically, your game’s retention stats. engagement stats, and acquisition stats. To ensure your game has good growth, you should shoot for quality retention and acquisition stats. To do this just make sure your game makes it enticing for players to rejoin your game and spend a good chunk of time on it. And for the means of acquiring players, make sure you have a good icon that is appealing and suits your game. On top of that, have a good game page with good thumbnails a simple description.

I won’t talk about advertising your game as somebody has already said all that needs to be said, but just make sure you aren’t throwing money at advertising for a game that cannot sustain itself. I wish you luck and recommend you to never give up, I’ve had plenty of games never pick up traction but I kept going and I am now responsible for a game with 50 million visits. If I can do it, you can do it, you got this :+1:
