Need help importing animations (Moon Animator)

  1. What do you want to achieve? Keep it simple and clear!
    I am trying to import some Moon Animator animations from a free model Dummy.

  2. What is the issue? Include screenshots / videos if possible!
    The issue is that the animator doesn’t sees the animations, so I cannot import them.
    Animation saves:

  3. What solutions have you tried so far? Did you look for solutions on the Developer Hub?
    I tried looking for everything that may help, although didn’t find anything helpful.

I am not familiar with Moon Animator since I am using Studio’s animator, but if anyone could help that would be awesome.

You have to Open the folder inside “xSIXxAnimationSaves” and move the value inside the folder into ServerStorage > MoonAnimationSaves (if name is wrong then sorry)

After that you need to open the Moon Animation Editor and click on “File” then click on “Open Animation”

it seems like the folder you’ve got there is compatible with only Old version

This type of folder doesn’t support in the current version

i actually have in my inventory the old oon animator, although i do not think it is installed. anyway, thanks for hellping!

I know this is an old post but, what was the fix? I’m still confused on how to import.

just hit ‘5’ inside of moon animator to export an animation. to import, hit this button on your rig:Screen Shot 2021-09-26 at 1.14.52 PM

then, choose your presets or import by set import

I can’t import the animation because I don’t have the animation. The animation is the folder, and I’m not sure how to import an animation into moon editor with that said folder.

on the folder do:
right click > save to roblox
then it should be in your inventory
