Hello! So, I’m currently trying to build a traditional Korean house, and I’ve made good progress on other rooms but I’ve been stuck on the living room. I’ve remade it about 2-3 times, and it still looks terrible. So, I’m wondering if any of you have any recommendations on what to change/put to make it a better room. I plan on taking everything out and redoing it again. Thanks!

It certainly needs some plants or other decorations. Maybe add a bookcase or google pictures of Korean house interiors and get ideas from those. Maybe add some pictures to the walls or add some normal sized tables/desks to the room.
Thank you for your suggestions. I will definitely add some bookcases. I’ve already googled many pictures, but I think I’m going to look for some more.
Maybe add some trim to the top and bottom of the walls like you have in the last photo. Pictures on the wall might be nice too.
The walls look a bit plain, I think that may cause the issue. Try adding a bit more detail.
Very important details: vegetation and darker colors, that will give it a certain touch of realism and it will be more like reality in my opinion. Keep it up, it looks fantastic!
