Need help on how to prevent lag when building!

So I am about to release a tycoon game. There is one problem so there is only one tycoon and I am trying to duplicate it and put it on the other islands, but when I do try to move it it crashes my studio or lags it so much and the thing is in a random place across the map. Could someone please tell me how how to fix this or link a plugin that helps with this?

Try setting your studio graphics quality to 1.

Alright I will try to turn my studio graphics down to only 1

how to set studio graphics to 1

Oh God I’m bad at explaining.
Step 1 Press file then studio settings.
Step 2 Go to render.
Step 3 you see where it says edit quality level change it to 1.

Go to edit quality level and set that to 1

still just shut down my studio

studio settings > rendering and then set both to 1

bruh its so laggy omg its crashing again

You should try to union your parts. (don’t do it if they have different material or transparency)

To set the graphics press ALT + S and go to rendering

You should spread out your parts, try not to have a high density of parts in one area

Try setting your lighting technology to compatiblity and switch it future / shadowmap when you test your game

<That’s how I make my builds not laggy>

Its really hard because the build is so big

If you can, try to use meshes for more detailed builds as much as possible

im not a builder i have no idea how to build

From my experience, I would avoid using unions as much as possible, since I have had unions corrupt before, and it wasn’t pleasant when I had to rebuild the union.

@tennis_dad Have you been using the select tool to move objects? You should be using the move tool since it doesn’t try to align with nearby objects to move things.

anyone know how to make it able to move smoothly tho?

I usually make as many union as possible, high part counts lag a lot. I never had a corrupt union before though

Don’t worry! If you want to learn how to build, then you should dedicate time to just practicing/learning how to build. I f you aren’t trying to learn how to build, ask a friend, or if you have more than 1.5k Robux, you can hire a Builder right here on the DevForum too!

I have a builder man im just asking how to prevent lag when moving massive builds

If you want to use meshes too, you do need to make 3d models, though

Maybe check if there are un-necessary things on anchored blocks like welds, attachments, and stuff
