Need help on UI design

Hello,

I can’t decide wether the first or second design is better. For instance, the colorized buttons on the top change color according to the difficulty of the game (obby). This is supposed to be a kids game so maybe more colors are great but as I said, im not sure. If you have any additional ideas, let me know!

version 1 (colors):

version2 (black&transparent):

Game Link: Mystery's Difficult Chart Obby - Roblox
still WIP because theres loads of stuff (new racing ui, etc.) missing. Ive just recently picked this game up and completely reworked it for final release
PS; NO GAMEPASS/DEV ID/ works because it’s not set yet!!

thanks in advance

If you have any design tips, here are some more UIs from the game:

Yeah, in my opinion I would go colures too, since you’re targeting that younger audience but if you haven’t already, make to scale and position correctly so the UI fits on all devices, most of Roblox is mobile! But looks great the UI!

thanks! uiaspectconstraints and a plugin for scaling is all implemented. I have experience when it comes to properly scaling ui

Looks great! I personally think the colored version is better.

I personally like the first one better, since the age group that primarily plays this genre of games are young.

But I do have a little bit of feedback. For the shop button, the shop icon and the text are too close together, maybe consider adding some padding to the text, or make the button larger. The settings icon and the text are slightly overlapping, so tweak the position a bit. The same goes for the inventory button to the left of it. Maybe consider making the text a bit larger. The daily spin text gradient also makes it hard to read, at least for me. Also consider adding a bit more padding between the buttons at the top of the screen.

Other than that great job on the UI!
