Hello, i need help sizing models across a grid.

I have a grid right, and the grid system works. But i need to size the models to be perfect, so they can be used with my grid system how i intend.
Like, if you size a meshpart it’s sized perfectly, is there any way to do this with models?

what do you mean by this?? do you want the model to be squished when you resize it??

Yes, i need it strictly on a grid so it’ll look good, and it’s very hard to get it to fit correctly.

i don’t think there’s a way to do that in studio. you’ll have to resize each part manually.

you could try importing the model to blender and then exporting it so that it becomes a mesh, but i have no idea if that’ll work

I’m not too sure. If you group all the objects, make the move joints .001 and slowly scale it to the size, it may work.

However, I cannot test this theory because I cannot yet access studio.

grouping the parts together makes them keep the same ratio when they’re resized, which isn’t what this guy wants. the object is a rectangle whereas his grid is a square.

Not sure if this would work, but using the F3X resize plugin on the function of resizing both sides, maybe that would work?

Otherwise, I’d recommend using the method the person above has mentioned with would be exporting the objects onto a mesh and exporting as a MeshPart and then just resizing it and moving it towards how you want it to look.

Well, i want to animate some stuff and also make some functionalities to specific areas of the model.

I’m not sure in which direction of resizing you’re looking for, but I would recommend just meshing each part separately towards your goal of the animation you need.
