I’m new to animating, and I’m trying to replicate the following crouch walk animation:
I think I got the basic pose down, but the animation feels so robotic. How do I make it feel more ‘life’ like?

First and foremost, animation is a skill, and an art, and as such, it takes practice. That being said, check the curves in your keyframes. If you’re animating using Studio’s animation editor, select the keyframes and right click on them > Easing.
I haven’t used Studio’s curves though as I don’t really animate in there, but easing is a good start.
I feel the animation will be better if the legs is lifted when stepping forward, not just moving back and forth
Okay, I’m using “In and Out” is that okay?
I recommend you to experiment and see what fits best. If you are unsure, you can use In and Out, but if it is a multi keyframe movement, you may have to combine Ins for when the movement starts, and Outs for the exiting keyframes of the motion.
Mess with it a little, and try all the easing curves (styles) until you get an understanding on how they work. Usually cubic is a good one for humanoid animation, with a proper combination of ins and outs, depending on your case, however a Cubic style with In and Out should already give you a good bit of improvement. I would still recommend adding more keyframes if you want a more complex animation (Ohm gave good advice too)
Oh nice, alright that makes sense. Is there a youtube video that you would suggest watching?
