Need help with exporting my model/rig to Roblox Studio from Blender (Skinned Mesh)

Hi there. So in short Im trying to export my model to roblox studio with a rig, and animation (skinned mesh). There are currently two objects, first my main mesh and second, the outline of my mesh (which is pretty much a slightly larger version of the main mesh with backface culling on)

if i join them up, animate and rig it, it should work fine and all however, when I export the model to roblox studio it will lose all its material I can add the glow again but I will lose the different coloured outline because I joined them up to one mesh before, meaning if I do add the glow their would be only one material and no outline

How Do I fix This
