Need help with mixing motor6d and animation together

Basically I am trying to make an animation where the player throws a meteor that they were previously holding into the air and smashes it down onto the floor again, but this is very hard to because the motor6d makes the meteor follow the hand, and I do want it to do this, but not when the meteor has been thrown

You could try to break the motor6d thats links the hand to the meteor when the meteor is thrown.
