Need help with some board coloring for a house asset

I want to make a board to make a house with in studio, but idk which of the two colors I want, could you devs help me?

First board:

Hi @Ithurius very good, this is only the basic, I would suggest you to use the first board as the color is not dark. Darker color are meant for to build trees trunk etc…

As you build house, first thing is to always focus on floor walls and ceiling, it’s a very basic term for you to start building a realistic house, hope that clarifies! :slight_smile:

Oh I mean, when you start building your house, focus on the basic thing, meaning focus building the floor, wall, ceiling first, as you progress through, then you can start to try design a little bit.

But I don’t really recommend you to use wood material to build a house unless you are talking about forest where you build a lodge or something.

I would suggest you to use smooth plastic material.

If it’s a open place like a city then smooth plastic suits the surrounding! :slight_smile:

Both do not really give me that “satisfaction”. I think it should be a little more “orange-y”
