Need suggestions making a medium sized map

Hello, our teams building a map and we need some help. It looks really blank right now, we’ve tried adding foliage and trees (obviously), but we are stuck now… any ideas? :persevere:

This has been bothering us, or atleast me, ever since it went into development. Any criticizing and suggestions is appreciated!

The map looks good so far. I’m guessing this is a post apocalyptic world. If so you can add structures like ruins or abandoned buildings. I can also see destroyed buildings fitting in very well. Buildings could range from office type buildings to warehouses.

Other nature related features you could add could be lakes, rivers or waterfalls. Maybe different variants for the trees, tall grass, vines, bushes, etc. You can have trees and plants growing out of the destroyed buildings, and for the buildings that managed to survive, you can have vines drooping down the roofs.

I’m guessing you will add the items that are for sale on the shelves of the shop, otherwise they will look a little empty.

For the zombie spawn area, you can make the area look creepy by adding dead trees, bones, etc. Also you can take advantage of dynamic lighting and use point lights for the fire. It’s a small detail but it’ll definitely help.
