Nerf FPS 2018 Scripter/Coder/Animator wanted!

So I’m trying to create a Nerf first person shooter, we’ve created Nerf FPS 2017 before but now we’re making a new game, Nerf FPS 2018. So I really need someone with experience on making FPS games.

We’re a pretty chill development team, I currently have a builder/animator and another scripter but she needs help. We mostly communicate through discord and we use group games to develop together and sometimes team create. As of payment, I’ll give you a specific percentage cut into the whole development team’s group (Peanut Butter Studios) probably around 10-20% since I have other developers that have worked with me for years, but that percentage can increase if you do a really good job. Or if you want, we can arrange certain commission costs per task of development work. This is all done with robux and in group payouts.’

So far, we’ve got the framework somewhat created but mostly we need help adding certain aspects of the game such as mantling over objects, killcams, physics, movements, animations, etc. We really need someone with experience of making a great FPS game from scratch with their own framework/engine. Then afterwards we’ll release a public alpha of the game, then keep developing until we get into a full release. We’ll still probably update the game and we might keep the game position and the framework for the days to come.

For maturity, we would like someone who is serious about game development and has a passion for this kind of stuff. We are pretty chill though so you can use you’re own language (not offensive though), we do have fun and take breaks. I will not tolerate any offensive speech or material of any kind. We need someone we can trust that won’t betray us by stealing our game or scamming us in any other way. I just don’t want or need the drama at all.

The whole team is extremely confident that this game will succeed and that we’ll have fun developing the game as we go. This is a pretty original and fun game to make, but it can be hard to create. I’d like to keep developing this game full-time for the years to come if it meets our expectations and all the other players/fan’s expectations.

As for experience, we really need someone who is experienced in creating great FPS games from scratch through their own framework/engine. I don’t need any builders, GFX, or sound designers. But I really need someone who knows how to make blender animations export into our framework in-game. We could also create our own animation plugin, we’ve tried but it’s getting pretty hard so we’re stick to CFrame for now.

I do not think this is the equivalent of 10-20% of the income, but that is just me. You do ask for a lot of experience and someone to make what is more than half of the entire game and seem to treat it as trivial tasks.

I agree. Given how the game is a FPS, you are talking about almost the entire game. 10-20% is simply not enough for someone to spend all of his/her time working on.

I’m not trying to replace any of my current development team, I currently have 3 other developers excluding me. But I am willing to increase the percentage cut if you are really good, but I was just trying to refer to 10-20% for just fixing some glitches and doing animations periodically. I said around 10-20%.

In your post, you seem to be saying otherwise. Even for a framework, around 10-20% still isn’t enough. FPS frameworks tend to have a ton of complicated things that need to be coded, such as inverse kinematics for the arms that are holding the gun.

I’m not asking for a framework, I just need some experience with it.
