New 1-Player First Person Skill Game (What do you think? Bugs? Tips?)

Hi all, I recently created a solo, first-person Skill Test. I am wondering what you think about it, along with any bugs or mess-ups you find. I would love people’s opinions, as well as any suggestions for future levels! Any feedback is appreciated, thank you!
You can find the game here: ELIMINATE - Skill Test - Roblox

For starters, nice work you have done.
Improvements:

  1. For the SurfaceGuis you put on parts go under the Properties and Find “Sizing.” Then look for PixelsPerStud. Mess with that number to find a better look for the text so it’s not pixelated.
  2. I would add music to the background. So main menu would have a calm music and in levels action music for example would play.
  3. Give pressing buttons a sound aswell.

But honestly other then that very nice work.

Playing it right now! I’ll edit this post or add a new one once I develop enough feedback on the game!

Edit: I do not have access to the game. I’m not sure if this is just for me but the game is locked as of right now.

The game isn’t mobile compatible, that might be the reason. I’m sorry for the inconvenience, there are a lot of technical problems. Thanks for the feedback though, Merry Christmas!

Oh yes, I tried playing on a touch screen laptop haha. Oh well! I’ll try playing it when I go on my PC later! Then I’ll try providing some feedback on the game!

When the game told me to “eliminate”, no targets appeared. Is this a bug?

I’m going to try again, but I love the concept so far!

Edit: The first level still seems to stop at that point.

I guess you could say that this is …super hot
badum tsss :drum:
Personally, I’ve never played Superhot and I don’t know the story of the game. As a player, here’s what I think.

  1. The first level doesn’t have much immersion. Yes, my database has been wiped. But, I don’t think you wipe memories with a big gray box (Also make the corners identifiable, I feel uncomfortable staring at solid gray color and a red square below me, lol) Maybe you could try making it like a “dreamscape” where it’s just a flat plane with thick fog to give that “in the subconscious” feel?

  2. Also text speed feels too slow idk just my opinion probably not though

Also here’s a tip (these are general tips so bear with me here)

  1. Make a little bit of all your features, combine in together, and then let people playtest that little bits of all the combined feature. This “little bit of every feature” is called a “Vertical Slice” of your game, it’s great to see at which part of the feature do people enjoy the most.

  2. Once you’ve identified that part, you can focus to improve and refine it so people would enjoy it more. (Sometimes it’s just so good you accidentally made a game based from just that feature, this type of game design is called “Finding the fun”

I believe I haven’t found any bug, but sometimes enemy blocks the replay button >.>

extra feedback: I would like to see how you would execute the stop-to-slow-down and move-to-speed-up thing (post another playtest when it’s finished :stuck_out_tongue:)
extra extra feedback: random-text Guy usually doesn’t say that they’ve wiped your memory…

Hhm, that seems to be a weird glitch, I’ll have to work on it. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the great feedback, I will definitely work on several of the things. I need to delete the enemies once the level ends, thanks for reminding me! It is all really appreciated, Merry Christmas!
