The image over the 3D asset will block any interaction that you do with it. Can get annoying when attempting to view the back of a new hat as it will attempt to return to the normal rotation that it does
Can you post a screenshot with the issue?
In the catalog theree are certain items with a “new” banner over their thumbnail. If you go to that item’s page, enable 3D, and start rotating it, you’ll notice that your mouse lets go of the item whenever you mouse over the banner, even though the mouse is still within the thumbnail. This also happens for the limited and BC banners.
