New Camera Update breaks run mode

Cant move camera while the new camera beta is enabled.

To recreate open a new studio instance, enable beta, and hit run, camera will be stuck in place.

Expected behavior

be able to move the camera around while in run mode.

You could disable it from Beta Features

I like the new camera controls, and if i do that there is a chance nobody will find bugs like these and fix them, that is why they are a beta

This is the only issue with the beta currently.

Complain in the release notes thread for today - much more likely to notice the feedback

meanwhile whenever i try to scroll wheel with new camera update i receive MASSIVE lag spikes, microprofiler is pointless because not enough buffer.

Experiencing the same issue lmfao it’s actually astonishing. Not sure what they’re trying to do with this new camera system but I hope it doesn’t go through, or it’s at least toggle-able.

For now you can just opt-out of it from the Beta Features.

Other than that though, roblox’s new studio features are pretty good ever since they got that new lead guy that actually cares about devs :+1:

yeah im aware its a beta feature, i opted out immediately. this bug is critical and its a no surprise to me experimental features are released as beta feature, because things can go wrong.

Me too! I thought I was the only one experiencing that.

This isn’t the only bug, camera speed doesn’t reset back to it’s normal value so setting it to 1 just gets overridden by whatever speed you went on that’s faster (zooming, going to focus)
