So I added the new chat bubbles to my new project. Everything worked fine in Roblox Studio but when I went in game I noticed the chat bubbles seemed to be WAYYYY higher than they should be. A friend of mine tested it in my game as well, and for them the chat bubbles appeared to be at the correct height. Am I the only one experiencing this? I’m not sure if this is related to the issue, but I’m currently on a Mac.
So what I think it is, is the bubble chat only appears to you at higher up than normal, but when others see your chat bubble it should be fine, maybe ask your friend to screen share and see his chat bubble too, if his is also higher up, then I think only the client can see it higher up than normal, but the rest of the server should view it as fine, however, I might be wrong, so still check with your friend and see yourself how high up his chat bubble is above his head.
I know that there are some games right now that have both the new chat bubble and old chat bubble on top of each other. It’s really annoying. My guess is that they’re doing this so that lower end devices that can’t see the new chat bubbles can still see the old ones?? I don’t know though. Like the people in this thread said, it’s a new feature, so it’ll have some bugs.
