Just played the game and the potential is great. The idea and design is awesome and the gameplay is quite satisfying!
I do have a few things to say though:
The weapons does not aim properly if you are moving diagonally.
Because the Jetpack is activated by jumping, activating it will give you a bit of low gravity, then it will launch you, obviously not the intended effect.
I think the blaster guest should have high range, since it’s supposed to be “ranged”, so it’d make sense for the player to dodge the bullets and deal with enemies, as a bit of a ramp up.
Some retro, old roblox music would fit (unless they were taken down due to the copyrighted audio update, then nevermind)
The main, fatal problem though: Combat Initiation
Yes, it has 3 classes, but that’s it. I believe that unless the classes branch off more or if they work well in harmony, then I think it is doomed to fail. You should focus first and foremost on figuring out something that sets it apart from the inspiration, otherwise there is no point in playing yours over CI.
But considering this is in an early test, then I can see these issues being ironed out.
The plan is to develop a game which emphasizes teamwork and team synergy which is such a fun style of game which NEEDS more representation on Roblox
In terms of gameplay, the idea in mind is more akin to TF2’s MVM mode or Defend the Statue (where enemies will attack a central point) rather than just an arena vs players, BUT I want my basic enemies and weapons taken care of before that. If it’s something you’re interested in I’d love to keep in touch in the future!!
