New Font or Theme doesn't have more Font Weights when wrapped into <strong> anymore. ****Text**** doesn't work anymore

Description

Before the Font change, you could have different bolds. But that is gone, every forum post that used that styling to highlight things just looks like Regular Bold now.

Re-Production Steps

Copy paste the above code and experiment with it I guess.

 

Expected Result

Before the change, Markdown’d text on the forum that would be ****Super Bold**** would be more bold than regular bold formatting

Like so:

Actual Result

It’s the same bold as regular bold styling.

I don’t know if my eyes are deceiving me, but the font weights don’t look the same to me (although they do look extremely similar)

The one on the image?

It’s because I scaled it with forum scaling. If you right click and open in a new tab, it should be in the original size.

Oh, you’re not wrong, there is indeed a difference. For some reason only on the Roblox Dark Theme. It is a little bit hard to notice though compared to the old one I guess.

So the font does have the “Weights” :thinking:

They have weights, but the difference isn’t great enough.

Three of those words were bold. Were you able to tell?

Regarding this issue, I suspect it being an issue with how the CSS Theme works.
